Funeral services will be held at Gardner's Funeral home
Friday at 2 p.m. for George Hathaway who passed away Tuesday at the Hood
River Hospital.
He was born on September 13, 1867, Mr. J.W. Williamson
of Hood River will read the service. Burial will be in Balch Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie of Lyle; 5 sons: Maurice
of Glenwood; G. Herb of The Dalles; Everett, Lyle; Wayne, Lyle; and Lester
also of Lyle. Also 6 daughters: Mrs. Frank Nelson, Dayton, Wn.; Mrs. Dan
Carlock, Orofino, Ida.; Mrs. Ted Reid, Rufus, Oregon; Mrs. Al Jouzene, Sutter
Creek, California; Mrs. Bill Brown, Kennewick, Wn.; and Mrs. Art Strode,
Cascade Locks, Oreg.; also a sister, Martha Daniels, of Minnesota; 38
grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

SERVICES FRIDAY FOR GEORGE HATHAWAY
Funeral services for George A. Hathaway, 86, Lyle who died at Hood River hospital Tuesday morning May 18, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday May 21 at Gardner's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Balch cemetery near Lyle. Mr. J.W. Williamson of Hood River will officiate. He is survived by his wife, Nellie; 5 sons: Maurice of Glenwood; G. Herbert of T. D. and Everett, Wayne and Lester of Lyle; six daughters: Mrs. Frank Nelson of Dayton, Mrs. Bill Brown of Kennewick, Mrs. Dan Carlock of Orofino, Mrs. Ted Reid of Rufus, Ore. and Mrs. Arthur Strode of Cascade Locks, Ore.; and a sister Al Jouzene, Sutter Creek, California; Mrs. Bill Brown, Kennewick, Wn.; and Mrs. Art Strode, Cascade Locks, Oreg.; and a sister, Martha Daniels of Minneapolis, Minn.

George A. Hathaway, Lyle, died in the Hood River Hospital
Tuesday morning, May 18.
He had been a resident of Lyle for 25 years. he was born
on September 13, 1867.
