GRACE LUBA
Grace A. Luba died April 18, 2000, at Vancouver Care
Clinic, at the age of 89.
Mrs. Luba lived in the Vancouver area for five years.
The former cannery worker and homemaker enjoyed embroidery work and was a
great cook.
Mrs. Luba is survived by her daughter Francis M. Pearson,
Vancouver; son Leroy F. Jackson, Vancouver; sister Georgia Blanchard, Harve,
Mont.; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and18 great,
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marion K. Luba
in 1974.
Graveside services for Mrs. Luba were Friday, April 21,
2000, at Lyle Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Evergreen/Staples funeral
home in Vancouver.

There will be a private graveside service at a Lyle,
Wash., cemetery for Grace A. Luba, who died at a local care center Tuesday,
April 18, 2000. She was 89.
Her husband, Marton K., died in 1974. Mrs. Luba enjoyed
embroidery work and cooking.
She was born Jan. 7, 1911, in Nebraska and lived in Vancouver
the past five years. Mrs. Luba worked in the cannery.
Survivors include one daughter, Francis M. Pearson of
Vancouver; one son, Leroy F. Jackson of Vancouver; one sister, Georgia Blanchard
of Havre, Mont.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 18
great-great-grandchildren.
Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of
arrangements.
