FUNERAL RITES FOR GEORGE SNIDER HELD
The funeral for George Snider was held from the church here Wednesday afternoon and he was laid to rest in the Lyle cemetery. Mr. Snider was 80 years old last July and had lived in or near Lyle for more than 60 years. Many relatives from Portland and other places attended the funeral.

LYLE MAN DIES
George A. Snyder, of Lyle, passed away January 1, at
the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 14 days. Funeral services were conducted
Wednesday at the Methodist Church in Lyle by Rev. J.W. Reynolds with interment
in Balch cemetery at Lyle.
Mr. Snyder was born in Atchison county, Kansas, on July
17, 1856. He has resided in Lyle for 60 years, conducting a Real Estate business
there. He was a bachelor. He is survived by three brothers, one of them Rev.
Asa Snyder, of Portland.

LYLE PIONEER DIES
Geo. Snyder, 80 years and 5 months old, of Lyle, died Jan. 1st. Funeral was held Wednesday in the Lyle church. Mr. Snyder had lived in Lyle 60 years.
