Guy Chapman, an old pioneer of the West end was laid to rest in the Mt. Adams cemetery Friday. Mr. Chapman has been away from this vicinity for some time. He died at Seattle.

GUY CHAPMAN PASSES
The passing of Guy Chapman marked the end of another
Mt. Adams Area and Klickitat county pioneer. He died in Seattle Saturday.
Mr. Chapman, well known in this section, having come
here years ago, was born March 30, 1871 in Portland. He was the son of Lucinda
and Noah Chapman. He leaves two daughters, Mabel Carter, of Bremerton, Viola
Laurie of Spokane, two sons, Noah and Paul of Arcadia, Calif., two sisters,
Lucille Knutson, White Salmon and Kate Lane of Lyle, one brother, Cortland,
of Bingen.
Funeral services will be held today from Gardner's Home
with Rev. Reynolds officiating with burial in the Glenwood cemetery.

Guy Chapman, old-time resident of Glenwood, died recently at Seattle and will be buried at Glenwood Saturday. Funeral services will be held at the Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon at 11 followed by grave side service at the cemetery here.
