GRANDSON KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT
Funeral services for Gary Dwane Chamberlain, 22, grandson
of Mrs. Bessie Chamberlain and Mrs. Donnie Thomas of White Salmon were held
at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 8 at Gardner's Chapel. Burial was in the Odd
Fellows Cemetery. The Rev. Alfred Palmer officiated.
Gary was born on August 8, 1939 in White Salmon and was
killed in an automobile accident near Key West, Florida on July 31, 1962.
He was in the Navy.
He is survived by his parents, Virgil and Marian (nee
Thomas) Chamberlain of 3521 W. 2nd Ave., Hialeah, Florida; and a brother,
Thomas Lee Chamberlain who escorted Gary's body to White Salmon.

SERVICE HERE ON WEDNESDAY FOR G. CHAMBERLAIN
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 8th, at
Gardner's Chapel for Gary Dwayne Chamberlain, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil
Chamberlain. He passed away near Key West, Florida following an automobile
accident. He was in the military service with the U.S. Navy.
Gary was born August 8th, 1939 in White Salmon. Survivors
include his parents of Hialeah, Florida; a brother, Thomas Lee Chamberlain
of Hialeah and grandmothers, Mrs. Bessie Chamberlain and Mrs. Donnie Thomas,
both of White Salmon.
Rev. Alfred Palmer officiated at funeral services and
the casket bearers were military personnel from Portland, Ore.
Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, White Salmon.
