G.E. ACKLEY FUNERAL TO BE HELD HERE SATURDAY
G.E. Ackley passed away Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Prosser hospital. Services will be held by the Masonic Lodge at White Salmon Saturday at 2:30 p.m. G.E. Ackley is a brother of C.N. Ackley of this city.

GEORGE EDWARD ACKLEY
The funeral services for George Edward Ackley, who died
at Prosser last Wednesday, were held here at the Congregational church last
Saturday with Rev. A.E. Derby officiating and under the auspices of the Masonic
Lodge.
He was a charter member and first senior warden of the
White Salmon Masonic Lodge No. 163. He was transferred to the Multnomah Lodge
No. 1 of Oregon City, where he was an active member.
Mr. Ackley was born in Seymore, Wayne County, Iowa, May
21, 1869 and passed away at Prosser at the age of 64 years. He is survived
by his father, John Ackley, of Gladstone, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. D.W. Plank
of Prosser and two brothers, C.N. Ackley of White Salmon, Wn., and J.B. Ackley
of Kerby, Ore.
He was converted to the Christian faith in Oregon City
in the year 1908 and was an active member of the Baptist church.
