GLADYS BRUBAKER

     Gladys Eva Brubaker, a longtime Klickitat County resident, died at her home in Murdock on April 24, 1996, at the age of 83.
     Mrs. Brubaker was born July 13, 1912, in Portland, Ore., to Etta (Zimmerman) and Fred Moore. She came to Lyle at the age of 9 and attended school at Klickitat Heights. She married James in Lyle in June of 1961. They built a new house on 33 acres, where they farmed. They sold the farm and moved to Murdock. He preceded her in death in 1982.
     Mrs. Brubaker is survived by her half brothers, Lawrence Conklin, Prineville, Ore., and Johnny Moore, Astoria, Ore.; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
     Services for Mrs. Brubaker were held April 30, 1996, at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Rev. JoDene Romeijn-Stout officiating. Interment was at Lyle Balch Cemetery.
     Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

     Gladys Eva Brubaker, 83, a resident of Murdock, Wash., died at her home on April 24, 1996.
     She was born on July 13, 1912 in Portland to Fred and Etta (Zimmerman) Moore.
     She came to Lyle when she was nine and attended school at Klickitat Heights. She married James in Lyle in June of 1961 and they built a new house together on 33 acres where they farmed.
     They later sold the home and moved to Murdock. He died in 1982. She is a baptized Methodist.
     Survivors include two half brothers, Lawrence Conklin, Prineville, and Johnny Moore, Astoria; and nieces, nephews and friends.
     Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in white Salmon with Rev. JoDene Romeijn-Stout officiating.
     Committal will be in the Balch Cemetery in Lyle.
     Gardner Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.

     Funeral services were held April 30 at the Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon. Officiating was Rev. JoDene Romeijn-Stout. Committal was at the Lyle Balch Cemetery, Lyle.
