MRS. GARNET ELLEN DAVIS

     Funeral services for Mrs. Garnet Ellen Davis were held Saturday, November 15, at 2 p.m. at the Gardner Chapel with Rev. J. W. Reynolds officiating. Interment was in the Underwood cemetery.
     Mrs. Davis was born September 27, 1900 in Wilbur, Wash., and died at the Hood River hospital November 12, being 41 years of age at the time of her death.
     She had been ill since June and had been a resident of Underwood for about 16 years.
     Surviving are her husband, Linn Davis; four children, Lester, Charles, Lenard and Mildred; two brothers, J.W. Apperson of Klickitat and Albert Apperson of Prineville; and one sister, Stella Miller of Prineville.

UNDERWOOD WOMAN PASSES AWAY NOV. 12TH

     Garnet Ellen Davis, a resident of the Underwood area for the past 16 years, passed away on November 12th, in the Hood River hospital. She had been ill since June. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with interment in Underwood cemetery.
     Mrs. Davis was born in Wilbur, Wash., on September 27th, 1900, and was married to Mr. Linn Davis in 1918.
     Surviving her are the husband and four children: Lester, Charlie, Leonard and Mildred. She also leaves two brothers: J. W. Apperson of Klickitat and Albert Apperson of Prineville, Ore., and one sister, Mrs. Stella Miller of Prineville, Ore..
     Rev. J.W. Reynolds, White Salmon minister, officiated at the funeral services. Mrs. Irma Kapp sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer my God, to Thee." Gardner had charge.

MRS. LINN DAVIS

     Funeral services were held last Friday, November 14th, for Garnet Ellen Davis, of Underwood, who passed away on November 12th, at the Hood River hospital at the age of 41 years.
     Garnet Ellen Davis was born on September 27, 1900, at Wilbur, Washington. Sick since last June Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Linn Davis, of Underwood, and four children, Lester, Charles, Lenard and Mildred. She is also survived by two brothers: J.W. Apperson, of Klickitat and Albert Apperson, of Prineville, Oregon; and one sister, Mrs. Stella Miller, of Prineville.
     Garnet Ellen Davis had lived in Underwood for the past 16 years and was married in 1918 to Linn Davis.
     Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 P.M. in Gardner's Chapel with services read by the Rev. J.W. Reynolds. Mrs. Irma Kapp sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer my God To Thee."Interment was in the Underwood Cemetery.
