GERTRUDE HOLLENBECK

     Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 2, at White Salmon Cemetery for Gertrude Hollenbeck of Bingen. Rev. Bob Long presided. Mrs. Hollenbeck died in her home Friday, April 27. She was 80.
     She was born May 28, 1909, in Marion, S.D., to Erna (Wilde) and Henry Mehlbrech. She was raised in South Dakota. She moved to Washington in 1971 and has lived here since. Mrs. Hollenbeck enjoyed to sew and garden before her health failed.
     Mrs. Hollenbeck is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Starr of Bingen; sons Clarence Benson, Robert Hollenbeck and Richard Hollenbeck, all of Bingen; and grandchildren Jari and Jerry Starr, both of Bingen.
