GEORGE LESTER DIES AT HOME OF SISTER - LAKE SHORE

     George Henry Lester of Goldendale died of neuralgia Christmas Day at the home of his sister, Mrs. R.F. Cheney at Lake Shore, where he had been for the past three months. Mr. Lester was 58 years old and has been an invalid for the past twelve years.
     He is survived by three brothers, F.S. Lester, D.H. Lester of Vancouver and F.G. Lester of Camas, and two sisters, Mrs. B.F. Winterstine of Goldendale and Mrs. R.F. Cheney of Lake Shore.
     Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 9 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Cheney at Lake Shore, Rev. Mr. Brampton of Barberton officiating.
     The body was brought to Vancouver and is being held at the Knapp undertaking parlors, where it will be held until Wednesday and shipped to Goldendale, where interment will be made in the family plot at that place.

"Locals and Personals"

    Word was received here this week of the death of George Lester, who died in Vancouver last Saturday. The remains were brought to this city, and interment occurred in the Spring Creek Cemetery. Deceased leaves two brothers and two sisters. He was well known in this vicinity, having lived here many years.

A former well-known resident of this section, died at his home near Vancouver Dec. 26th, 1914. Mr. Lester was born in the state of Wisconsin, on Feb. 27, 1858. He leaves three brothers and two sisters: Edward S. Lester of Vancouver; Fred G. Lester of Camas; Dell H. Lester of Vancouver; Mrs. Ineze Cheney of Vancouver; and Mrs. Lizzie Winterstein of Goldendale. The body was brought to Goldendale, and interment occurred in the family lot at the Spring Creek cemetery.
