            The death of George Lincoln Bunnell occurred last Thursday afternoon at the Good Samaritan hospital in Portland, Oregon, due to an operation for cancer of the stomach. Deceased has been ill for the past several months, an attack coming on him in August. Mr. Bunnell resided in Centerville, Wash., from which place he was taken to the hospital at The Dalles, and was again removed six weeks ago to Portland, for treatment.       
            Deceased was born in Klickitat county, Sept. 19, 1865, on the old Waldron place, four miles south of Goldendale. He was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. Alby Bunnell, who were among the earliest settlers in Klickitat county. He resided in this county, near Centerville for nearly all his life, where he was engaged in the stock raising business the past 15 years, and of late in partnership with his brother Andy in the sheep business. He leaves besides a wife and child, his mother, Mrs. S.A. Bunnell, Goldendale; and the following brothers: Marion, Grant, and Frank L. of this city, Ike, Andy and Abe Bunnell who resides at North Yakima. He was a member of the Knights of Ptyhias of Centerville who attended the funeral services at the Christian church, in Centerville last Sunday the services been conducted by Rev. DeWeese, interment following in the Centerville cemetery. He has a wide circle of friends and acquaintances in this county who deeply mourn his loss.
