     Glenwood (Special) - Funeral services were held Sunday, March 3 for George Laveley Chandler, who passed away Friday, March 1. He had been ill for about five years and was in the White Salmon hospital for quite a while.
     Chandler was born January 27, 1880, and is survived by two brothers, John, of White Salmon and Frank, of St. Helens, Oregon, and three sisters, Mrs. Ovie Smith of Lyle, Mrs. Sylvia of New Bethlehem, Penn., and Mrs. Eva Hodson of Sacramento, California.
     He came to Glenwood in 1910 and lived there until he became ill. The Rev. George Jefferson officiated at the services with interment in the White Salmon cemetery.
