GOLDIE LUELLA BUTTON MAIER
Goldie Luella Button Maier, a resident of Dallesport,
died Thursday, Oct. 27, 1994 at a local care facility. She was 91.
Mrs. Maier was born Nov. 4, 1902 at Edmond, Kan. in a sod dugout.
She moved to Montesano, Wash. with her family at an early age and was later
a resident of The Dalles.
She married Julius A. Maier on April 28, 1934 and resided
at Appleton and Klickitat, Wash. before moving to Dallesport, where she had
been a resident since 1968.
Mrs. Maier was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in The
Dalles.
She is survived by her daughter: Patricia A. Robinson,
Hermiston; a son: Melvin E. Wyatt, Lakeside, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 33
great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Lawrence Locke and Apostolic Minister
Steve Lehman co-officiated. Interment will be at Balch Cemetery in Lyle,
Wash.
Brian Wyatt, Daryl Beeks, Scott and Mike Tuthill, Kevin
Robinson and Richard Bradford will be casketbearers. Serving as honorary
casketbearers will be Dennis Beeks, Victor Hinatsu, Julius Courtney and Richard
Bradford.
Smith Callaway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
