GRACE L. SAUNDERS
Grace L. Saunders was born August 11th, 1916 at Hartland,
Wash., daughter of Frank and Montery Ogden. Passed away at a hospital in
Portland September 25th.
A resident of Glenwood, Washington since 1938. Survived
by her husband, Walter K. Saunders of Glenwood, her mother, Mrs. William
Garrett of Klickitat, Wash., six children: Marilyn, Dixie, Dan, Cristy, Fred,
and Willene. Also two brothers: Fred Ogden of seattle, Wn., and Joe McCune
of Boron, California.
Pall bearers: Melvin Derschied, Gordon Boyes, George
Clark, Arnold Schlangen, Jack Cleveland, Frank Ward, Charles Holly, and Merle
Akerill.
Funeral services will be in the Glenwood Church September
30th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Borhauer of Trout Lake officiating. Interment will
be in the Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood.

GLENWOOD MOURNS MOTHER OF SIX
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday,
Sept. 30, in the Glenwood church for Mrs. Walter K. (Grace L.) Saunders,
38, of Glenwood. Mrs. Saunders died Saturday, Sept. 25, following heart surgery
in a Portland hospital.
Gardners are in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Harold
Borhauer will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Adams cemetery at Glenwood.
Mrs. Saunders, the daughter of Frank and Montery Ogden,
was born August 11, 1916 at Hartland, Wn. She has lived at Glenwood since
1938.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Wm. Garrett
of Klickitat; six children, Marilyn, Dixie, Dan, Christy, Fred and Willene;
and two brothers, Fred Ogden of Seattle and Joe McCune of Boron, Calif.
Named as pall bearers are: Melvin Derscheid, Gordon Boyes,
George Clark, Arnold Schlangen, Jack Cleveland, Frank Ward, Charles Holly
and Merle Akerill.
