GRACE MAY ARNOLD

      Grace Arnold, owner and operator of the Bridge Highway Service for many years died Nov. 11 in The Dalles. She was 80 years old.
     Services were Nov. 17 at Gardner Funeral Home, White Salmon, the Rev. Frederick Haag, officiating. Interment was in Balch Cemetery, Lyle, with arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Inc.
     Mrs. Arnold is survived by three children: Everett W. Arnold, Portland; Calvin R. Arnold, Vancouver; and Virginia J. Charters, Bingen; three brothers: Cecil Nickols, White Salmon; William Nickols, The Dalles; and John Nickols, White Salmon; a sister, Margaret Loose, White Salmon; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and four step-grandchildren.
     She was born June 1, 1900 in St. Joseph, Miss., to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Nickols. Mrs. Arnold was a resident of Bingen.
