GENEVA MAE BELDING

     Geneva Mae Belding of BZ Corners died Sunday, Dec. 5; she was 67.
     Mrs. Belding was born on March 31, 1926, in Zinc, Ark. to Alta (Butler) and Jack Smith.
     She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, friends, and animals. She married her husband of 46 years, Carl F. Belding, Sr. on July 26, 1947. They lived together in Arkansas until 1957 when they moved to Tieton, WA.
     Mrs. Belding and her husband moved to White Salmon in 1965. Carl preceded her in death in April of this year as did one son, Carl Belding Jr. who died in Vietnam. She was also preceded in death by her parents Jack and Alta Smith of Lead Hill, Ariz.; and brother Russell Smith of Yakima.
     She is survived by a son Raymond of Lyle; a daughter Joyce of Vancouver, grandsons Roger Belding of White Salmon and Tim Essex of Lyle; granddaughter Robin Smith of The Dalles, sisters Juanita Gable of Tieton and Oleta Savlors of Lead Hill, Ariz. Mrs. Richardson had five great-grand children.
     Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 8, 1 p.m., at the White Salmon Cemetery. The Rev. James MacCormack officiated the service.
