GEORGE KIGER
George Manuel Kiger, Bingen, died July 30, in Bingen,
at the age of 60.
Mr. Kiger was born January 10, 1925, in Caldwell, Mo.,
to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kiger. He traveled between Bingen and Missouri since
1967 with most of his time spent in the Bingen area. He worked for SDS Lumber
Mill, and eventually became owner-operator of the Bingen Texaco Service Station.
He is survived by his children, G. Dennis Kiger, Albany,
Ore., Joyce Ramsey, Shawnee, Okla., James Kiger, U.S. Army, Colorado, Martha
Kahler, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Sharon and Janet Kiger, both of California,
Elsie O'Neel and Lisa Harris, both of Lake Chelan, Wash.; a brother, Pete
Kiger, Dexter, Mo.; sisters, Annie Jones, Brosley, Mo., and Alice Grills,
Kennett, Mo.; eight step children and many grand-children.
Graveside services for Mr. Kiger were held Saturday at
11 a.m. at the White Salmon Cemetery, with Rev. Dave Garrison officiating.
Gardner Funeral Home handled arrangements.
