GEORGIA MAUPIN
Georgia Marie Maupin, Lyle, died in White Salmon on Feb.
5, 1995, at the age of 73.
Mrs. Maupin was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Husum, to Mary
(Edwards) and George Kreps. She grew up in White Salmon, marrying James Maupin
on Feb. 1, 1944. They lived in Monterey, Calif., for 1½ years while
he was in the service. Following his discharge, they lived in Husum for 16
years before moving to Lyle, where she remained the rest of her life. She
was a homemaker.
Mrs. Maupin is survived by her husband, James, Lyle;
daughter Anita Mignogna, Salem, Ore.; sons Jimmy L. Maupin, Carthage, Ark.,
and Walter L. of White Salmon; sister Mildred Wilson, White Salmon; five
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services for Mrs. Maupin will be held Saturday, Feb.
11, 1995, at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home. Private interment will be at
Chris Zada cemetery in Underwood.
Memorials may be given to the Lyle Fire Department.
Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
