GERALD MONTGOMERY

     Gerald "Chip" Montgomery, a Glenwood resident, died Nov. 24, 1997, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, at the age of 62.
     Mr. Montgomery was born Oct. 18, 1935, in LaCrosse to Esther L. (Verling) and Glen L. Montgomery. He grew up around Prosser in Horse Heaven Hills on a wheat ranch. He graduated from Prosser High School. Mr. Montgomery married Donna Mann on Aug. 21, 1965, in Kittitas and they moved to Glenwood in 1969, where he worked for St. Regis and Champion until they closed.
     Mr. Montgomery was very active in the Glenwood Rodeo Association and was also involved with the Western Buckaroos 4-H Club.
     He is survived by his wife Donna; daughter and son-in-law Tamara and Jon Budd, Cornelius, Ore.; brothers, Lester Montgomery, Yakima, Gary Montgomery, Snohomish, and Donald Montgomery, Moses Lake; sister Linda Gaudin, Goldendale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be held Nov. 28, 1997, at the Pioneer Memorial Community Church in Glenwood at 2 p.m., with Pastors Wes Barnett and Sandy Strait officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
     Gardner Funeral Home in white Salmon was in charge of arrangements.

GERALD G. MONTGOMERY

     Gerald "Chip" Montgomery, 62, of Glenwood, passed away Nov. 24, 1997 in Glenwood.
     He was born Oct 18, 1935 in LaCrosse to Esther L. (Verling) and Glen L. Montgomery. Gerald grew up around Prosser in Horse Heaven Hills on a wheat ranch. He graduated from Prosser High School. Gerald married W. Donna Mann in1965 at Kittitas and they moved to Glenwood in 1969. He worked for St Regis and Champion until they closed.

     He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Jon Budd of Cornelius, Ore.; brothers, Lester Montgomery of of Yakima, Gary Montgomery of Snohomish, and Donald Montgomery of Moses Lake; sister, Linda Gaudin of Goldendale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be Friday, Nov.28 in the Pioneer Community Church in Glenwood at 2p.m. Pastor Wes Barnett and Pastor Sandy Strait will officiate. Interment will be at the Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
