GARVER O. CASTLE
Garver O. Castle, who was born August 10, 1884 in Floyd
County, Virginia, passed away at his home in Lyle, Washington, on December
6.
He had been a resident of Lyle for the past 21 years,
and before that he had been a longtime resident of the Glenwood Valley.
Mr. Castle was married December 9, 1927 to Annie Shannahan
at Vancouver, Washington.
He was a member of Columbia Grange No. 87 of Lyle, and
attended the Church of the Brethern.
Surviving relatives are: his wife, Annie of Lyle; one
daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Cole of Juneau, Alaska; one son, John C. Castle
of Lyle.
Gardner's Funeral Chapel will hold the services on Friday
morning, December 11, at 11 o'clock with Rev. Everett Richey performing the
eulogy. Interment will be at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood, Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec.
11, at Gardner's Funeral Chapel, White Salmon, for Garver O. Castle, 80,
who died Sunday, Dec. 6 at his home near Lyle.
The Rev. Everett Richey will officiate. Burial will be
in Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood.
Bearers will be: (active) Chas. Holly, O.P. Kreps, Blair
Shippey, Ernie Struck, Howard Murray, William Lauterbach; (honorary) Fred
O'Neal, David Carter, Osmar Kuhnhausen, Frank Lyle, Arvis Wagner and Homer
James.

Final rites Friday for Garver Castle
Funeral services were held last Friday at Gardner's Chapel,
White Salmon, for Garver O. Castle, 80, who died Sunday, December 6 at his
home near Lyle.
