GEORGE O. THOMAS
George O. Thomas, 73, who was born in White Salmon March
8, 1916 to Erie and Donnie (Rainey) Thomas, died March 18 in Vancouver.
Mr. Thomas was a retired letter carrier with the United
States Post Office and he was a member of the Mount Adams Elks Lodge. He
also was a member of the Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Club and the National
Association of Letter Carriers.
He is survived by a wife, Joanne of Camas, a son Allen
Thomas of Vancouver, daughters Delores Hutchinson of Port Angeles, Karen
Law of Naches and Patricia Carlson of Washougal, sister Mary Carlyle of Neilton,
nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 22, at Straub's
Funeral Home in Camas, followed by a graveside service at the Klickitat County
Cemetery in White Salmon. Rev. Lowell Erickson officiated.
