FORMER RESIDENT PASSES

     Services for Gilbert O. Winterstein, 53, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Winterstein, were held from Knoshers Funeral Home Wednesday, April 29. Rev. W.N. Byars officiated. Interment was in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
     Gilbert was a former Goldendale resident, leaving here in 1938. At the time of his death, April 24, he was a resident at Springfield, Ore.

GILBERT O. WINTERSTEIN

     Gilbert Otis Winterstein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Winterstein, was born July 1, 9911 at Spring Creek. He passed away April 24, 1964 at Springfield, Ore.
     He had lived in Oregon since 1938 where he was employed mostly in the lumber and plywood industry.
     He was married in Goldendale July 3, 1940 to Evelyn Amanda Freer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Freer, of Goldendale. To this union four children were born: Earl Lee, serving in the United States Army in Germany, Lewis Edward, A___ Dee and Lola Ann, all of Springfield.
     He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, and his four children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Winterstein of Goldendale, and also three brothers, Merle and Arthur, of Goldendale, and William, of Cresswell, Ore. He also leaves a large number of relatives and friends.
     Funeral services were held at the Knosher Funeral Home Wednesday, April 29, with Rev. W.A. Byars, officiating. Burial was at the Spring Creek cemetery.
