GILBERT EARLE
Funeral for Gilbert Paul Earle, a retired employe of
Delta Lines on the passenger and freight ship Del Sud, will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday in Caldwell's Colonial Mortuary.
Mr. Earle, who had been retired for 11 years, died Monday
in a Portland hospital. He was 75.
Mr. Earle was born in New York and had lived in Portland
34 years.
Surviving are his wife, Violet; daughter Kay Laney of
Portland; half-brother Herbert Mazerin of Florida; sisters Eleanor Brackman
of New York, Claudia Stanley of New York City, Jean Balash of Saratoga, Calif.,
Bernice Wilborn of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Anita Elliot of Los Gatos, Calif.,
and three grandsons.
Burial will be in Chris-Zada Cemetery in Underwood, Wash.
