RITES HELD HERE FOR MRS. HOWLAND

     Funeral services for Mrs. Grace M. Howland, 79, Portland, were held in the White Salmon Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26.  Mrs. Howland died in Portland Sunday, April 24 of pneumonia.
     Rev. Oscar Olson officiated. Burial was in the White Salmon Odd Fellows cemetery beside her husband, the late H. M. Howland.  Mr. and Mrs. Howland made their home in Klickitat for many years.
     Mrs. Howland is survived by her daughters Alice McConkey of 3828 SE 13th, Portland and Beatrice Benson of DeLake, Oregon and two grandchildren.
     Arrangements were in charge of Colonial Mortuary, Sandy Blvd. at 14th, Portland.
