Gregory Scott Wilson
Greg was called home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 19, 2006 after a very
short courageous battle with plasma cell leukemia.
Greg was born in White Salmon, WA on October 10, 1948. As the son of a
military family, he traveled extensively during his youth. He graduated high
school in Burlington, VT in 1967 and went on to attend college at the University
of Munich. He transferred to the University of Washington, graduating in 1971
with a degree in political science. After working several years as a marine
electrician at the shipyards in Vallejo, CA, he came to Lakewood, WA to attend
law school at the University of Puget Sound, earning his law degree in 1981.
Greg is survived by his wife Chong Im Wilson, 14-year-old son Gregory
Wilson, parents Mel and Donna Wilson, sister Rosemary Bilikas, nephews Michael
and Scott Bilikas, brother Jeff Wilson and wife Lynn, and nieces Kayleen and
Shannon Wilson. He also leaves behind numerous cousins in Washington, Oregon,
and Hawaii as well as countless dedicated and caring friends.
Greg was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He truly enjoyed
family gatherings, cooking, and spending time with friends. He was quick to make
friends and always kept those friendships close to his heart. He would always
make you laugh with his witty humor, and challenge you to think about more than
just yourself. He will truly be missed and will forever be in our hearts,
thoughts, and prayers; we love him dearly.
The family has set up a trust account at Bank of America (Edmonds, WA
Branch) for his son’s education. Contributions may be made at any Bank of
America branch to the “Gregory Scott Wilson Trust.”
Remembrances may also be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research
