"Bingen Intelligence Graphically Written"

Monday morning sad news was received by many friends of the passing of Uncle George Tams, one of the oldest pioneers in Western Klickitat County. An honorable, upright man, very quiet in his demeanor and a good friend to this community. He could not survive old-age and ill health. We regret his passing and extend our sympathy to the brother and sister. He leaves a brother here in Bingen, Peter Tams and a sister in Seaside, Ore. Interment was at the Mt. Adams cemetery, Glenwood.
