DEATH NOTICE

     George Young, 81, of White Salmon died at 1:20 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, at Skyline hospital. He has been a resident of White Salmon since 1925. His wife died in 1952. He is survived by two sisters living in Des Moines, Iowa.
     The funeral will be held at Gardner's Funeral Home, 2 p.m., Friday, March 11, followed by burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

MR. GEORGE YOUNG PASSES AT SKYLINE

     Mr. George Young, who has been at Skyline hospital since February 17th, passed away Wednesday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock.
     Mr. Young had no immediate family living here. Up until the time when he became ill, he was living up on the Snowden Road. His sister, Mrs. Sadie Smith and daughter of Iowa, made a trip out west to see him, but could only stay short time, as she had to return.
     He was 81 years old at the time of his death. No funeral arrangements have been made so far.
