HERMAN ANDREW MATTA

     Herman Andrew Matta was born August 21, 1888, in Kuusamo, Finland to Herman and Kaisa Matta and died in Goldendale on December 6, 1966, at the age of 78 years.
     Mr. Matta came to America when he was six years old of age and lived in the Centerville and Goldendale area most of his life. He was baptized and confirmed in the Apostolic Lutheran Church at an early age.
     He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Hetrick, Twin Falls, Idaho and Mrs. Vivian Wilson, Goldendale: nieces, nephews and many friends.
     Funeral service was held December 9 at the Knosher Funeral Home with Pastor Charles A. Miley officiating. Pallbearers where Wilbert Crocker, Peter Anderson, Virgil Anderson, Otis Anderson, Hilmer Erickson and Arnold Hoikka. Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.
