HATSU MOTEKI

     Hatsu Moteki, a resident of the Underwood area for the past 15 years, died March 25 in Goldendale at the age of 86.
     She was born May 18, 1893, in Fukushima, Japan, to Mr. and Mrs. Yashiki Takahashi. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Japanese Methodist Church.
     Survivors include two sons, George, Japan, and Robert, Brooklyn, N.Y., one daughter, Mary, Washington, D.C., and three grandchildren.
     Rev. Edward Stubbs conducted graveside services for Mrs. Moteki March 27 at Chris-Zada Cemetery in Underwood.
