SERVICES HELD FOR HAROLD ARNOLD ON WEDNESDAY
Harold James (Ted) Arnold was born February 25th, 1907
in Iola, Kansas, the third son of James and Olive Arnold. His parents moved
to the Willamette Valley when he was 2 years old. The family made their home
in the area of Salem during the years he was in school.
He was married to Jesse Tanner on Sept. 4, 1926.
He is survived by his wife and six children. Daughters;
Juanita (Mrs. Loren Schmid) of White Salmon; Norma (Mrs. Tom Fritchey) of
White Salmon; Marietta (Mrs. Bob Stockton) of Honolulu; sons, Tom of Trout
Lake, Tim of Tacoma, and Nelson of Seattle. There are seven grandchildren.
One sister, Emma (Mrs. Ray Hisel) of Salem, Oregon; Gordon Arnold of Salem,
Oregon and Arthur Arnold of Lebanon, Oregon.
Harold Arnold had been a resident of White Salmon since
1939 when the family moved to the Mt. Brook district in Klickitat County.
In 1953 they moved from the farm after his health failed. He had been a patient
at Skyline Nursing Wing since March of 1966.
During his working years he was a farmer and the logger
He passed away May 2nd, 1970.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Gardner's
Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Kaelin officiating . Interment in the White
Salmon Cemetery.
