HENRY AUGUST SCHMIDT
Funeral services were held on June 18 at the Gardner
chapel in this city for the late Henry August Schmidt, who passed away on
June 15. Internment was in the White Salmon I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Henry August Schmidt was born on August 12, 1885, near
Blue Hills, Nebraska. At the age of fourteen he moved with the family to
Smith county, Kansas and lived there until twelve years ago, when he came
to Washington to live.
He leaves one brother, Frank Schmidt, living in Franklin,
Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Lena Beaver, of White Salmon, and three nieces,
Mrs. Loretta Paris, Mrs. Freda Strong and Mrs. Lorraine Huffman.
