HANS VOGT FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY 2 P.M.

     Hans Vogt passed away at a hospital in Yakima on Sept. 19. He was born in Hamburg, Germany on March 3rd, 1860 and came to this country in 1884. He lived for a time in Nebraska. On Sept. 28th, 1909 he received his citizenship papers. He came to Washington in 1941 and settled in rural White Salmon, moving in 1947 to Klickitat. Since 1954 he has lived in Yakima.
     Surviving from two marriages are eight children: from first marriage a son: John Vogt, residing in Falls City, Neb.; a daughter, Minnie Busselman of Lake Benton, Minn. A daughter, Marie and son, William are deceased. From the second marriage: Grace Audiss living in Butte, Nebraska; John Vogt of Klickitat; Elsie Stoltenberg of Naper, Nebraska; Claus Vogt of Naper, Nebraska; Ralza Vogt of Wenatchee, Washington and Elmina Luth of White Salmon, Wn. Two children from this marriage are deceased. Also surviving are about forty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 24th 2 PM at Gardner's Funeral Home with the Rev. Homer Coulson of Husum officiating. Interment was in the White Salmon Oddfellow Cemetery. Pallbearers were Claude Ackley, Roy Weatherly, Howard Hicks, Earl Fields, Joe McMollen, and Carl Teel.

HANS VOGT DIES AT NINETY EIGHT

     Hans Vogt, born in Hamburg, Germany March 3, 1860, died Sept. 19 in a Yakima hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 24 at Gardner's Funeral Home. Rev. Homer Coulson of Husum officiated. Burial was in the Odd Fellow cemetery.
     Pallbearers were Claude Ackley, Roy Weatherly, Howard Hicks, Earl Fields, Joe McMullen and Carl Teel.
     Mr. Vogt came to the U.S. and Nebraska in 1884 and became a citizen in 1909. In 1941 he moved to rural White Salmon and in 1947 to Klickitat. For the past four years he has lived in Yakima.
     Eight children survive: by his first marriage a son of John of Falls City, Nebr. and daughter Minnie Busselman of Lake Benton, Minn.
     From the second marriage, John M. Vogt of Klickitat, Ralzo Vogt of Wenatchee and Elmina Luth of White Salmon; and Nebraska, Elsie Stoltenberg and Claus Vote, both of the Naper, Grace Audiss of Butte.
     Two children of each marriage are deceased: (1st) Marie and William; (2nd) Henry and Ella.
     Also surviving are about 40 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several-great-grandchildren.
