HAROLD B. BARKER
Harold B. Barker, White Salmon, died Sunday in The Dalles
at the age of 77.
Mr. Baker was born Nov. 12, 1904, in Corning, Iowa, to
Mr. and Mrs. Beach Barker. He came to White Salmon in 1967 and has lived
here ever since.
A farmer, Mr. Baker was also a member of the Methodist
Church.
He is survived by one son, Keith Barker, Hall, Mont.;
three daughters, Beverly Gendron, Republic, Sharon Thomson, Hartselle, Ala.,
and Sue Westerngren, Milwaukee, Ore.; three brothers, Homer and Lyle, both
of Sturgis, S.D., and Marvin, Great Falls, Mont.; five sisters, Beulah, Denver,
Colo., Margery Freelove, Chula Vista, Ca., Doris Robinson, Canby, Ore., Verla
Weaver, Denver, Colo., and Vivian Stream, Molalla, Ore.; 10 grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Barker were held Wednesday at
2 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, with the Rev. Jim Franklin
officiating. Interment was in White Salmon.
