HAZEL BRADLEY, OF LYLE, PASSED AWAY APRIL 6
Hazel Bradley, resident of Lyle since 1922, died in White Salmon
on April 6th. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 9th
in the Lyle church. Rev. Mr. Haines, of Goldendale, officiating and the Gardner
Funeral Service in charge.
Hazel Bradley was born in Spencer, Nebraska, on March
15, 1903 and was married in 1922 at Lyle. She is survived by her mother,
Mrs. Sadie Bennett, her husband, Earl Bradley, and six children -- Gilbert,
14 years of age; Raymond 12, Eugene, 11, Edward 10, twins Donald and Douglass
5, and three sisters -- Opal Gunning of Chewelah, Wash.; Oda Atkins, of
Goldendale; Dorothy Leathes, of Dee, Ore.

MRS. HAZEL BRADLEY LAID AT REST
Funeral services were held in the Lyle church April 9
for Mrs. Hazel Bradley, of White Salmon, who passed away at the family home
April 6.
Mrs. Bradley was born in Spencer, Nebraska, March 15,
1903, and came to Oregon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Bennett,
when just a baby. The family moved to Lyle and in 1905. Mrs. Bradley was
married to Earl I. Bradley on June 7, 1922. About three years ago they moved
to Underwood. At this time her health began to fail.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, Mrs. Sadie
Bennett, of Goldendale; her widower, Earl, and six sons, Gilbert, 14, Raymond,
13, Gene 11, Edward, 10 and twins, Douglas and Donald, 5. Also three sisters,
Opal Gunning, of Chewalah, Wn. , Ora Atkins, of Goldendale, Dorothy Leathers
of Dee, Oregon.
Rev. Haines, of Goldendale, delivered the Funeral address.
Gardner's Funeral Home was in charge of the services. Interment was in Balch
Cemetery.
