HENRY BOLLE

     Henry Bolle, superintendent of the Travis River Fish Hatchery, died suddenly at his home, December 29, 1951. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Waud's chapel with the Rev. Fletcher officiating. Al Janzen was organist. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, at the Gardner chapel at White Salmon, Washington, with interment in Underwood, Washington. Arrangements were entrusted to Waud's Funeral home.
     Mr. Bolle was born April 17, 1882, in Kansas and came to Park Place, Oregon, with his parents at the age of six. He attended and graduated from schools in Oregon City and at 20 went to work for the Federal Government in the Fish and Game Commission. He first worked at the Underwood and Cooks hatchery in Underwood, Washington, where he met his wife, Elsie Larson, whom he married in 1907.
     Mr. Bolle moved to Tillamook 16 years ago, at which time he joined the Oregon State Fish Commission. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Stevenson, Washington, and is survived by a daughter, Ella Hooker of Oregon City; a son, Richard Bolle of Tillamook; a sister, Mary Byrer of Portland; two brothers, John and Ed Bolle of Gladstone, and four grandchildren.
     According to friends of the family, this was the first Christmas that Mr. Bolle had been able to have all his children and grandchildren with him, and he had spent a very happy holiday with his family. He will long be remembered by his many friends in this community. Mr. Bowie was especially known for his many acts of kindness.

BOLLE RITES TO BE TODAY

     Funeral services will be held in this afternoon, Thursday, January 3, at 1 p.m. at Gardner's funeral home for Henry Bolle. Mr. Bolle is the brother-in-law of Amos, Olaf, Frank, Lewis and Aaron Larsen of Bingen and Underwood.
     For many years of the deceased was manager of the Cooks fish Hatchery. Since leaving this vicinity he has been in charge of the Trask River hatchery at Tillamook.
     He is survived by two children, Mrs. Clarence Hooker of Oregon City and Richard Bolle of Tillamook, and four grandchildren. His wife, Norma Larsen Bolle, passed away in 1941.
     Services were held in Tillamook yesterday. The Rev. James Duffy of the W.S. will officiate at today's rites. Interment will be in Christ-Zada cemetery on Underwood Heights.

FUNERAL TODAY FOR HENRY BOLLE

     Funeral services for Henry Bolle, will be held today at 1:00 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home here with Rev. James Duffy of the Congregational Church officiating.
     Committment will be in the Underwood Cemetery.
     Surviving are two children: Mrs. Ella Hooker of Oregon City, and Richard Bolle of Tillamook, Oregon.
     Also surviving are: 4 grandchildren and two brothers-in-laws Olaf Larsen of Underwood, and Amos Larsen of Bingen.
     Services were held Wednesday in Tillamook at the Waud Funeral Home.
