MRS. BULLOCK PASSES IN GRIDLEY, CALIF.
Mrs. A.W. Bullock died from a heart attack in Gridley,
California Saturday at the age of 80. She lived here for years on what is
now the Tubandt place several miles from Goldendale. The Bullocks started
the first milk route here years ago.
Since her husband died 15 years ago, Mrs. Bullock has
been living in Gridley at the home of her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs.
L.B. Tunnell. She had come here in 1879 from St. Joseph, Missouri.
She is survived by the younger sister, Mrs. Charles Mesecher;
her nephews, Ralph Hunter and William Darland; nieces, Mrs. Merle Chapman
of Prosser and Mrs. Osby Bishop of Troutdale, Oregon; her daughter, Mrs.
Tunnell and son, Noel Bullock of Elco, Nevada.
Funeral services were held here Wednesday afternoon,
with Rev. P. Glenn Garner officiating. Interment was in the Spring Creek
cemetery.
