FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR HERB KUHNHAUSEN

     Herbert Kuhnhausen, son of Edward Kuhnhausen and Elizabeth Johanna Leudke died at his home in White Salmon at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24th at the age of 52 years, 7 mos. and 25 days. He was born in Glenwood, Wn., on Sept. 29th, 1897, living there until he moved to White Salmon in 1930.
     Herbert Kuhnhausen was united to Edith Murray on June 8th, 1921, and to this marriage was born a daughter Doris and a son Denis.
     He is survived by his wife Edith, his son Denis and his daughter Doris and her husband Ray Tupper of Portland, Oregon, a brother Frank of Glenwood, a sister Elizabeth Rankin of Silver Creek, a step-mother Johnanna of Oregon City, a half-sister Elsie Chiodo of Gresham, Oregon and a half brother Eric of Oregon City.
     Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock May 28th at the Servicemen's Club in White Salmon. Rev. Roger Gilbert officiating, with Gardner's Funeral Home in charge of services. Interment was in Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood, Washington.
     Pall-bearers at the Service Men's Club were: Al Lermo, George Kreps, Orie Kreps, Landon Willis, Earl Warneke, and L. Triplett.
     Honorary Bearers were: John Wyers, Ed Bartholemew, Chas. Mansfield, and Guy Crow.
     Pall-Bearers at the Glenwood Cemetery were: Olie Kreps, Tye Murray, Osmer Kuhnhausen, Frank Leaton, Jack McGrath, and Frank Lyle.
     Rev. William Ring sang "The Blind Plowman" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

HERBERT KUHNHAUSEN

     Herbert Kuhnhausen was born September 29, 1897, at Glenwood, Washington and passed away at his home in White Salmon after a long illness on May 24, 1950 at the age of 52 years, seven months and 25 days. He is survived by his wife Edith, Kuhnhausen, a daughter, Mrs. Doris Tupper and son Dennis, a sister, Elizabeth and a brother Frank.
     Funeral services were held Sunday, May 27 at 2 o'clock in the American Legion Service club with Rev. Roger Gilbert officiating. Rev. William Ring sang two songs. Burial services were held at the Glenwood cemetery.
     Honorary pallbearers were Guy Crow, John Wyers, Ed Bartholomew and Charles Mansfield. Pallbearers were Orie Kreps, Earl Warneke, Al Lermo, Loren Triplett, Landon Willis and George Kreps. Pallbearers for the burial service were Osmar Kuhnhausen, Howard Murray, Frank Leaton, Andrew McGrath, Frank Lyle and Oliver Kreps.
