OLSON

     Helen D. Olson, 88, of Goldendale passed away on Tues., Jan. 14 at her home.
     She was born in Artesian, S. Dakota on July 4, 1903 to Joseph and Anna Salisbury. She attended schools in South Dakota and attended college at Rapid City. She went on to teach school in South Dakota and was united in marriage to Ralph Olson in 1942. The couple lived in Pasco for many years before retiring to Goldendale in 1968.
     Olson was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goldendale and enjoyed walking and fishing.
     She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990.
     She is survived by one son, Don Olson of Kent, Washington.
     Graveside services were held on Mon., Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Cemetery, with Thomas V. Lane officiating.
     Arrangements were under the care of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home.
