MEMORIAL SERVICE SET SATURDAY FOR HENRY STEGMAN
Henry D. Stegman, native of Klickitat County and a lifelong
resident, died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Yakima. He
had been in poor health for several months.
Requiem mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday morning
at Holy Trinity Church, with Father Daniel Green in charge. Rosary will be
at 7:30 Friday evening, also at the church.
Interment will be at the Catholic cemetery in Goldendale.
Obituary will be published next week.

SERVICES HELD FOR HENRY D. STEGMAN
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 24, for
Henry D. Stegman, 74, with Fr. Raymond Mueller, S.J., of Spokane, a nephew,
as the officiating minister. Rosary services were held Friday at Holy Trinity
church in Goldendale.
Henry Stegman died Wednesday in St. Elizabeth hospital
in Yakima where he had been ill since last May.
Mr. Stegman, son of a prominent pioneer, was born in
Hartland. He received his early education in Iowa and later attended Washington
State University.
He operated wheat and cattle ranches with his father,
Dietrich Stegman, for many years. After his retirement from farming he was
right-of-way agent and historian for the Klickitat County Public Utility
District for 18½ years.
Mr. Stegman was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic church
of Goldendale. His home for the past 13 years has been with his sister, Mrs.
Bertha Gerber, in Goldendale.
Interment was in the Goldendale Catholic cemetery.
