Mrs. George Bradford was suddenly called here early Thursday morning to the bedside of her aged mother, Mrs. Daffron of Lyle, who was stricken with a "stroke". Her sisters and relatives of Portland were called also, and remained doing what they could for the patient, who passed away early Monday morning; thus one more old time resident will be laid to rest.

Mr. Barlow Breaks Arm at Wrist While Picking Cherries This Week
Lyle -- (Special to The News) -- Mrs. Daffron suffered a stroke last Thursday and was very ill several days. She passed away Monday morning. Burial services are Wednesday, at the Grange hall.
