HELEN E. FUERSTENBERG

     Helen E. Fuerstenberg, 88, died in The Dalles on June 18, 1999.
     She was born June 20, 1910 in Walla Walla, Wash. to Nellie (Vail) and George Hathaway.
     She was a waitress in her early years and became a beautician later on. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and also liked to cook and travel
     Survivors include her sons, Ivor Jones, Lyle, and Vern Norton, Poulsbo, Wash.; a daughter, Suzanne Norton, Spokane; brothers, Everett Hathaway, Lyle; Wayne Hathaway, Woodburn; and Lester Hathaway, Rochester, Wash.; a sister Edie Reed, Walla Walla; eight grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
     Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in White Salmon.
     Gardner Funeral Home of White Salmon is in care of arrangements.
