ISAACSON
Mr. Harold E. Isaacson of Lacey died Feb. 14, in Olympia.
He was 75.
He was born Oct. 12, 1913, in Melrose, Ore. to Andrew
and Ida Isaacson. He graduated from Republic High School and was a Marine
Corps sergeant during World War II.
A longtime resident of the Centerville area, Mr. Isaacson
was a member of the Louis Leidl Post #116 American Legion, and McEwen Lodge
#125 F&AM in Sumpter, Ore. He was an operating engineer working on The
Dalles and John Day dams and other projects around the Pacific Northwest.
Survivors inlcude his wife, Myrna Isaacson of Lacey;
three sons, James of Fairbanks, Alaska Air, David of Monterey, Calif. and
Gary of Lacey; one brother, Allen Isaacson of Goldendale; one sister, Alice
Harris of Bainbridge Island; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Feb. 18, in the Centerville
Cemetery with Goldendale Lodge #31 F&AM officiating. Military honors
were under the auspices of Louis Leidl Post No. 116 American Legion. Interment
followed under the direction of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home. Pallbearers
included Robert Isaacson, Walter Fahlenkamp, Alfred White, Mike Dove, Richard
Randall and Mark Niva.
