The Valley was saddened on Monday as Heather McCuistion passed away at the Hospital in Portland.

The community was saddened on June 22 by the death of ten year old Heather McCuistion at Providence Hospital in Portland. She had been fighting a brain malignancy for two and a half years. Funeral arrangements were not made at this writing.
DEATH CLAIMS 10 YEAR OLD
Funeral services for Heather Elizabeth McCuistion, 10,
will be this afternoon, Thursday, June 25, in the Presbyterian church at
Trout Lake at 2 p.m. with Rev. Shellbach officiating. Burial will be at Trout
Lake.
Heather was born in Hood River May 4, 1949, the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McCuistion, who survive her. She is also survived
by one sister, Mrs. Ronald (Sidney) Hollenbeck and grandparents, Mrs. John
Pfister, and Mr. and Mrs. George McCuistion.
