HUBERTA PEARCE
Huberta E. Pearce died Nov. 16, 2002, in Portland, Ore.,
at the age of 91.
Mrs. Pearce was born Jan. 7, 1911, in St. Lawrence, S.D.,
to Maude Kerr and Hubert Woodruff. After the death of her father, her mother
and three of four sisters moved to the White Salmon area. Mrs. Pearce was
14 at the time.
On March 6, 1930, she married Amos Pearce in Portland,
Ore. They lived in White Salmon for about 30 years before moving to a home
on Eyrie Road.
Mrs. Pearce was a very talented and creative person,
involved in sewing, painting, acting and her love of music from classical
to jazz. She will be remembered by many for her talent at the piano.
She was preceded in death by her husband Amos in
1994.
She is survived by her daughters Audrey Rohman, Portland,
Ore., and Arden Kuhnhausen, Sequim; six grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

S.D. She was a homemaker who also played piano in several bands. She moved
to Portland from White Salmon, Wash., in 1998. In 1930, she married Amos;
he died in 1994.
Survivors include her daughters, Arden L. Kuhnhausen
and Audrey L. Rohman; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
