HENRY WILSON IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Funeral services for Henry Wilson, 75, who lived near
Centerville most of his life, will be conducted at the Phillips chapel Saturday
at 1 p.m.
Wilson died at his Goldendale home Monday evening at
7:15 as the result of a heart attack. He sold his Centerville ranch last
year to live in town.
The deceased was born at Centerville December 12, 1876.
He was wed to Alina Mackie at Butte, Montana February 28, 1903.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Philmer and Willie
of Portland and Wesley of Goldendale; a daughter, Lillie Tiply of Seaside,
Oregon; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Another daughter,
Stella Cinnotti, preceded her father in death.
Two brothers also survive, Oscar of Goldendale and Arthur
of Portland, and four sisters, Anna Hardin, Lydia Ferguson and Margaret Gilbert
of Portland and Minnie Beeks of Cliffs.
Wilson spent most of his life wheat and stock raising
in the Centerville area. He leaves a host of friends to mourn his passing.
Pallbearers at the final rites will be Harvey Niemela,
Ernest Mattson, Wilbert Crocker, Art or Hippo Basse, Walter Ahola, and Johnny
Tobin. Interment will be made in the Centerville Grange cemetery.
