HELENE KUHNHAUSEN GRAVESIDE SERVICES AT GLENWOOD, WASH.
Helene F. Kuhnhausen, a former resident of Glenwood,
died Mar. 30 at the Hacienda Nursing Home in Centralia, Wa.
Born in Germany on Mar. 29, 1879, Mrs. Kuhnhausen attended elementary
school in Eureka, Ca., and also attended school in The Dalles. She married
Paul Richard Kuhnhausen on Oct. 19, 1913 in Glenwood. They lived many years
in Glenwood and moved to Chehalis in 1951 to be near their daughter. Mr.
Kuhnhausen preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1960.
Survivors are: a daughter, Clara Hobart, of Chehalis;
2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a nephew, Erich Porshman, of Portland,
Or.; and 1 niece, who lives in Germany.
Services were held on Mar. 24, 1:30 p.m. at the Mt. Adams
Cemetery in Glenwood, where she was buried. Rev. Peter A. Caruana of the
Peace Lutheran Church of Chehalis officiated. Gardner's Funeral Home was
in charge of the service.

Helene F. Kuhnhausen, 96, died in a Centralia nursing
home Saturday.
She was born March 22, 1879, in Germany, and had been
a resident of Chehalis for 26 years, and was formerly of Glenwood. She was
a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, Chehalis.
Survivors include a daughters, Mrs. Rod (Clara) Hobart,
Chehalis; two grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a nephew and a niece.
Services will be Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at Mt. Adams Cemetery,
Glenwood, with the Rev. Peter Caruana officiating. Memorial services will
be Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Peace Lutheran Church, Chehalis, with the Rev.
Peter Caruana officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sticklin Funeral
Chapel.
