HENRY ELMER
Henry H. Elmer, 96, of Monroe, died Wednesday, Dec. 28,
1988, at Pleasant View Nursing Home.
Born May 26, 1892, near Monticello, he was the son of
Oswald and Katharina (Meier) Elmer.
He married the former Ethyl Green Jan 3, 1913.
Mr. Elmer was an electrician in the Monroe area and worker
as the electrician at the Green County Fairgrounds for more than 50
years.
Survivors include six sons, Ralph of Rock City; Morris
of Beloit, Clarence of Janesville, and Virgil, Loren and Curt, all of Monroe;
a daughter, Mrs. Darryl (Dorothy) Camron of Monroe; 27 grandchildren and
33 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife July 18, 1961; by
two sons, George in 1916 and Rodney in 1958; and by two brothers and five
sisters.
Private family services are Saturday at the
Shriner-Neushwander Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Ellersieck officiating.
Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
