SERVICES HELD FOR HANS HENNINGSEN
Funeral services were held on Thursday for Hans Henningsen,
80, who died at his home here Sunday evening following an extended illness.
The body was taken to Glenwood, Wash., for interment.
Mr. Henningsen was born in Schleswig-Holstein in 1857.
He came to the United States at the age of 14, settling first in Iowa and
later in Washington. About 10 years ago he came to Seaside, where two sons,
Henry and Adolph, reside.
Funeral services were held under the directions of E.B. Hughes Mortuary.

HANS HENNINGSEN
Hans Henningsen was born Dec. 8, 1857, in Lottsorf,
Schleswig, Holstein, Germany. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Detlef Henningsen.
He died at Seaside, October 11. He came to the United States when 14 years
of age with his parents, settling in Iowa. He immigrated to Glenwood, Washington
in 1877.
He was married to Catherine Tams July 8, 1884. To this
union were born three sons, Henry, Willie, and Adolph, Willie preceding him
in death.
The family moved to Boring, Oregon in 1902, later moving
to Seaside at which place the family still reside. He was buried in the Mt.
Adams cemetery, Glenwood, by the side of his son, Willie.
