HAROLD JENKS
Harold Holland Jenks, an area resident since 1969, died
Thursday in White Salmon at the age of 76 following a lengthy illness with
cancer.
Mr. Jenks was born March 13, 1907 in Hollandale, Wis.
He married Ione Derby in Rapid City, S.D., June 2, 1927. He moved to Trout
Lake in 1969 after retirement from the Willamette Iron and Steel Co. in Portland.
He moved to White Salmon in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Ione, White Salmon; one daughter,
Delores Todd, Idaho City, Idaho; one brother, Kenneth Jenks, Ellensburg;
one sister, Hazel Cabaniss, Hayden Lake, Idaho; and two granddaughters and
one great granddaughter. Funeral services for Mr. Jenks
were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with
Dr. R. Ted Holland officiating. Interment will be in the Trout Lake Cemetery.
