H. HYLTON PASSES AWAY AT HOME OF DAUGHTER IN GLENWOOD

     Mr. H. Hylton, well known Glenwood resident, passed away Monday, June 11th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H.R. Murray. Paralysis caused his death.
     Mr. Hylton was 80 years and 23 days. The funeral was held in Glenwood Tuesday and the remains were laid to rest beside those of his wife who passed away 19 months ago.
     Mr. Hylton was married on March 4, 1870 in Virginia and he and his wife came to Glenwood 19 years ago.
     He leaves 10 children to mourn their loss -- Mrs. Lydia Wyers of Bingen, Wash.; Mrs. H.R. Murray of Glenwood, Wash.; Mrs. Wm. Markgraf of Glenwood, Wash.; Mrs. Gus Markgraf of Outlook, Wash.; Mrs. John Mills of Arvin, Calif.; I.L. Hylton of Waterford, Calif.; A.B. and J.C. Hylton of West Virginia; Mrs. J.F. VanDyke of West Virginia and D.W. Hylton of Hobart, Oklahoma; also two brothers and one sister, one of the sisters being Mrs. C.B. Bond of Grants Pass, Ore.
     Deceased was also well known here having made his home for some time with his daughter, Mrs. Lydia Wyers of Bingen.

"County News"

     Grampa Hylton passed away Monday, June 11, at 11:30 a.m., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Riley Murray. He was eighty years old and had suffered a paralytic stroke about two weeks ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday June the 12th, at the church.

"Glenwood News"

     Mr. Hylton who has been quite ill at his daughters, Mrs. R. Murray, passed away Monday. The funeral was held Tuesday, and he was laid to rest in the Mt. Adams cemetery along side his wife, who was buried there just 19 months ago. The relatives have the sympathy of the ommunity in their sadness.
